The Cliffden Hotel has officially opened its new eco-friendly swimming pool, following a six-figure refurbishment, which requires only salt to keep the waters crystal clear.
Nestled in the picturesque coastal town of Teignmouth, Devon, the stunning 47-bedroom hotel now boasts a state-of-the-art environmentally-friendly pool, available for guests and members.
The brand new indoor pool has been designed to the highest ESG standards as part of the six-figure renovation, including liquid pool cover technology to reduce evaporation and wasted heat.

The reopening of the refurbished swimming pool signals the Cliffden Hotel's dedication to continuously improving its facilities and exceeding guest expectations at the historic holiday destination, while protecting the environment with ESG measures.
As well as fully condensing high-efficiency boilers, the 15-metre pool has Air Source Heat Pump dehumidification to reduce evaporation and heat loss.
Guests and local members will be thrilled with the crystal clear waters, through all new filtration controls and mobile water quality monitoring, as well as a Hyprolyser electrochlorination system.
This revolutionary system is a greener and safer way to operate a pool, because it requires only salt to operate, reducing environmental impact by completely eliminating the risks associated with handling, storing and using traditional, hazardous pool-cleaning chemicals.

The new pool complex also contains all new efficient showers, within independently-heated changing rooms, and is now open for hotel guests from 7am until 8pm daily.
